Exactly 3 years ago to date, I posted my very first blog entry here, entitled This is me…a beginning of myself. My dear blog, I wish you a happy birthday. 
My blog has changed, expanded, grown. It is vibrant and it breathes every minute of every day. It is full of light, but it also has shadows and it is not afraid to explore darkness. It has survived my life’s ever present hardships, and it is still going strong. It will not be held down by anything, not even by my weaknesses. I have followed and learned.
I reckon a retrospect of 3 years’ posts is unnecessary, considering I have a decent archives on my blog’s sidebar. Instead I choose to remember it all by picking a song that resembles my relationship with writing, one of my greatest passions. And the song is…(cue the drum roll!)…”Sustain” by The Enemies, a favorite Irish band of mine.
Because despite all the tears, fears, and pain I’ve endured, together my writing and I will sustain. And one day, we will have our place in the spotlight of the world.
